Dr. Hunter Davis
Dr. Hunter Davis received a degree in Business Management from Geogia Highlands College in 2005. He returned to school in 2009 to pursue a medical degree. In 2011 he graduated from Jacksonville State University with an honors degree in Chemistry. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine in 2016. He then attended Emory Family Medicine residency from 2016 until 2019. Dr. Davis is now a practicing physician in Atlanta, Georgia.
Connor Wilkinson lives with his wife and their three children in SW Ohio, the youngest two were both adopted through Special Angels Adoption. They are also foster parents and currently have a long-term placement of a little girl. He is immersed in the life of a special needs parent: full of therapies, doctors appointments, and hospital stays.
He received his M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from Miami University in 2016 along with undergraduate degrees in sociology and family studies. Additionally, he is currently in graduate school to become a nurse practitioner specializing in pediatric palliative care and hospice, inspired by his youngest daughter who has a myriad of diagnoses include severe HIE, spastic quad cerebral palsy, cortical visual impairment, and epilepsy.
Connor serves as a parent representative on the board and enjoys getting to give back to the organization that helped him build his family and find families for children like his.
David Kelly has served on the Board for the last four years. David received his Pharm D degree from Auburn University and has been a pharmacist for 15 years. He lives in Madison, Alabama with his wife, Jennifer, and their three children.
David enjoys video games, puzzles, and model-building; however, his favorite pastime is playing with his children. David serves his community through patient education meetings and health clinics.
David is grateful to be a part of advancing the mission of Special Angels Adoption in honor of his daughter, Joy.
Deanna Bragg has been a member of the board since 2015.
Deanna has a very altruistic background. She is very active in the local chapter of the American Cancer Society, acting as chair of the Relay For Life event for the past three years. She is also one of the founding individuals of the Cultivating Our Future organization. Cultivating Our Future is a volunteer group striving for beauty, pride, and growth in the city of Jackson, Ohio. Deanna has spearheaded many fundraising events to benefit individuals in Jackson area facing catastrophic illnesses. She served as the area service leader for the Boy Scouts of America for over ten
Deanna has a bachelor's degree from Ohio University in criminal justice. For the past 16 years she has been employed by Ohio Jobs and Family Services as social program coordinator. She presently oversees the child care program.
Board member, Gary Barraclough spent over 30 years as a business manager for a coal company in Pennsylvania. This background has proven invaluable to the Marlee Factor Foundation/Special Angels Adoption. He has brought his experience in business administration and financial management to the organization.
Gary now resides in Florida with his wife of over 40 years. He has become an author, publishing his first book, Under God.
Board member, Cassandra Auxier lives with her adopted daughter, Emmalynn, and her 5 foster children in Jackson OH. She is a very experienced adoptive and foster care mother. With four of her six children being medically fragile, Cassandra spends her time caring for them full time. Her experience with adoption, parenting children with special needs, and foster care provide a invaluable perspective to the board.
In the very little free time she has, she enjoys sewing and reading.
